CAT 2021 Exam Pattern:
The common admission test 2021 used to have 100 questions. But in 2020 the number of questions was reduced to 76 and the duration of the exam was changed to 2 hours instead of 3 hours. it is said that the number of questions will be reduced in the 2021 CAT exam. The duration of the exam will remain the same. In a media release on Sept 24, 2021, Prof Ram Mohan said, Considering that there could have been time pressure to complete the CAT exam last year on account of changes made, for the CAT exam. The CAT Committee is attempting to reduce the number of questions. So from each section, they will reduce the question. CAT Exam pattern is the same and it is divided into 3 sections:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Quantitative Ability (QA)

CAT 2021 Eligibility:
- The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree
- The candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% in any stream.
- For the reserved category, candidates must have scored 45% in any stream.
- Final year students can also apply

- The application fees for CAT 2021 have increased by 10%. CAT fee for the general category is now 2200/- and for the reserved category, it is 1100/- rupees.
