The XAT 2021 exam was held on the 3rd of January, 2021. The overall difficulty level of the question paper was moderate. Let’s look at the section-wise number of questions distribution. Firstly, let’s talk about the decision-making section. There were 21 questions in this section. Moreover, their difficulty level was moderate. Secondly, there is the verbal and logical ability section. This section had 26 questions. The level of questions was easy. Thirdly, there was a QA and DI section. It had 28 questions. Hence, the XAT previous year’s question paper of 2021 had a total of 100 questions for 100 marks.
2020 XAT past year papers analysis
This exam was held on 5th January 2021. This exam had the exact same number of questions as 2021. Hence, we will not repeat the section-wise number of questions distribution. The total marks for this exam were 100. The decision-making section was a moderate difficulty. Whereas, the Verbal ability and logical reasoning section were difficult for most candidates. The remaining two sections were moderately difficult. Hence, the overall XAT question paper was moderately difficult.
In the XAT 2019 previous year question paper, the essay writing section was removed. Here, the quants section was easier than the other sections. However, the decision-making sections were quite tricky in nature. The verbal ability and logical reasoning section had 26 questions in 2019. Moreover, the questions in this section were difficult in nature. Secondly, the decision-making section had 21 questions. The difficulty level was moderate in nature. Thirdly, the QA and DI sections had 27 questions. The questions ranged from easy to moderately difficult levels. Lastly, there were 25 GK questions with moderate difficulty. The paper was for 99 total marks.
